I absolutely love living here in Charleston Sc, what a historic, yet beach life and of course golf heaven for those who love it, I am not a golfer but respect the sport. One of absolute favorite venue to photograph weddings is the beautiful Patriot Point Pavilion in Mount Pleasant Sc, this venue is peaceful, Intimate, elegant, charming and you can see the amazing landscape and the water as well as the 18 hole all in one place, and that my friends are called breathtaking. This brings me to my July 5th wedding for my wonderful past clients, Mindy & Jason Crowe.
Here from the bride Mindy in her words, is how this amazing day became.
As unlikely as it seems, Jason and I met in Houston, Texas during Hurricane Ike in September 2008. Since the city shut down following the hurricane, we went on several casual dates that week and had tons of fun together. The friendship quickly became love and the rest is history!
Jason had been to Charleston for several years to golf and visit friends, and he finally took me there for vacation in 2010. After getting engaged in July 2012, we decided that there was no better place than Charleston for the small beach wedding that I envisioned. Charleston is definitely one of our favorite cities in the U.S. and we were so excited to bring all of our friends and family here to celebrate. We also chose the July 4th weekend, as we wanted our guests to be able to plan a vacation around the wedding and truly enjoy all that Charleston has to offer.
Patriots Point was the perfect venue, with views of the golf course, water, and beautiful trees. Lacy (the coordinator at Patriots Point) was amazing and gave us great recommendations, from the awesome photographer to the nail salon. We had an absolute blast during the reception, thanks to Sweetwater Junction and the fantastic show that they put on. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding and we thank Michel for capturing it all for us.
