A Italian Wedding For Nicole & Jason Cooper at the beautiful Windows On The Waterway in HHI.

What a great way to start this April season, by having the honor and privilege to have captured and blog about this fantastic wedding for my clients Nicole & Jason.
On that Saturday, I arrived at the luxurious, Mansion of Nicole aunt house at Spanish wells, a photographer dream setting to capture the bride and bridesmaid parents, getting ready, as you can clearly see by these images that are reflected. Shortly after, I was surprised by seeing the car that was used in the 2004 romantic drama film, The Notebook, absolutely stunning automobile, waiting to pick up the bride. We then left for the ceremony and reception at Windows on the Waterway. The day was beautiful as was the weather about 70 degrees. This venue in HHI, has the perfect setting overlooking the waterway, I had the pleasure of working with the vendors before, our goal was to see that Nicole and Jason, family friends, enjoyed the day with smiles while the parents laughed, and cried, the glowing sunset concluded the entire day, just magnificent. Please enjoy my art:

Here from the bride is how this magical day became:

Jason and I met December 31st, 2008 at a New Year’s Eve party my cousin Andrea was hosting in Hilton Head, SC. Andrea had told me that her boyfriend Randell’s best friend, Jason, was interested in me but I wasn’t so sure about him. We only spoke for a few minutes that night because I had to leave early… Years passed without us speaking to each other, and in November of 2011 I went down to Savannah, GA to be a part of Andrea & Randell’s wedding. Before I arrived, Andrea told me that I would be walking down the aisle with Jason and that he was looking forward to seeing me again. I was not so sure about walking with him but I thought it was only for 5 minutes tops and then I could ditch him for the rest of the night. Well, was I completely wrong, the second I saw Jason in his suit at the rehearsal he gave me butterflies and I knew that I had to spend as much time with his as possible. Throughout the wedding, we got to know each other and had a blast together. The day after I was bummed to know I was going back home to NY and he was heading back to his Marine Corps Base at Camp Lejeune. Before we said our goodbyes, Jason asked for my number and we began texting after 5 minutes of leaving each other. Jason came to visit me the next month and we have been together ever since. Our relationship off the bat was never easy with my being in NY and him being in NC but we made it work and I believe it truly made us stronger. After 10 months of being together, Jason proposed to me and I was the happiest girl in the world to know I was marrying the man of my dreams.
