I remember back from this past February, when I met these great clients Debra & Mercer, at a wedding show in Hilton Head Sc. Mercer, who is a very well known technician for GM motor and was a part time photographer, while his brother Charles is a full time photographer, so looking for the right photographer, was an easy task has they are very familiar with the craft, so when I received the call that they chose me to photograph their wedding at this stage of their life, that was nothing short but a huge honor. I loved the story, the venue where they were having it, even though it was a 6.5 hour drive for me, so I got in my car after finishing another wedding on that Friday night. Well on Saturday morning June 30th, 2012 Debra & Mercer, had their special day. The ceremony and reception were held at Galloway Ridge beautiful auditorium in Pittsboro NC. John Sluck, the manager there & the Galloway team did an amazing job.The location was chosen to accommodate the groom’s parent, John and Nancy Pinckney. This was a joyous and intimate wedding with family and close friends. The wedding party consisted of groomsmen Charles and Andy Pinckney and Ben Strait and bridesmaids Julie Spencer, Cristin Barna, and Kelly Reinink. Mark Brigham walked the bride down the aisle where they were joined by her mother Janice Brigham who gave away the bride. The sister of the groom Hannah McMannus, who is the pastor of evergreen Methodist church in Chapel Hill NC performed the ceremony. Music was performed by Hannah’s friend Daniel Steinert and the wedding song was sung Lizzy McMannus, the groom’s niece. From the bride” Michel Berda did a fabulous job photographing our wedding and reception”. Thank You Debra & Mercer for such a great opportunity…! Here is what my heart and eyes captured for this lovely couple truly a very different and great wedding for me.
