Adding pets to engagements is unique and different. Clients have such a deep love for their animals that not only are you going to photograph them on their engagement session but most likely that they will be walking down the aisle at their wedding. The tricky part to having Carl there is how you tell this love story between the couple and him. This dog Carl was so hyper and happy, he did not stop for a minute. My clients rescued this dog, with makes this image that much more important. I concentrated my focus on Carl, and have the couple in the background, if you look at the image carefully you will see that he does not have a collar but a bow tie, the couple looking at each other add to the depth of the dimension to this image. A perfect pet, couple engagement portrait.
